After 2 years of the JJS Commercial Graduate Scheme and just under a year of being an Account Manager I am now in the Senior Account Manager (SAM) position. The graduate scheme allowed me to learn all areas of the business, broadening my knowledge and understanding of JJS. I now have a PGCert in Leadership and Management which has developed my skills further. I am faced with new challenges and experiences everyday as a SAM which helps me to continue my learning and progression.
I am now responsible for one of the key accounts for JJS, this involves providing support for the customer, project managing the account, having customer visits and liaising with multiple departments in the business.
JJS offers numerous internal training programmes via the “JJS Academy” which has allowed me to improve my personal development as well. Examples of additional training I have received have been Advanced Excel, Project Management and insights into Marketing. Indeed I have contributed and created to numerous blogs for JJS which have been shared on social media and to our customers,
The graduate scheme has provided me with a quick career progression path and I look forward to further opportunities in the future.
